...and this was not inspired by any way a mix of learning about the Black Plague in history class + Disturbia >.>

but anyway. So the past plot will be after this. Because I was uncomfortable about having a past + future plot so close together.

So here we go:

The Unbirth are mutated forms of Heartless, and are randomly spawned in times of great darkness or times of great darkness to come. The Unbirth attack people like Heartless, intending to make their heart succumb to darkness so that they too become a Heartless or a Unbirth, plus a Nobody.

Some Unbirth are extremely dangerous. Those ones are the ones that carry the Unbirth Virus.

Currently, the Unbirth Virus is something known to not exist anymore, as it died out with the last Keyblade War. When Radiant Garden was taken over by darkness a while ago after the war had ended, any leftover vaccines were destroyed. These vaccines, anyway, would be useless as the new strain is stronger. The Virus attacks the Light in one's heart, eating it away, converting it to darkness, until one is turned into a complete monster of themselves- an anti-form.

One can get the Unbirth Virus by either getting attacked by a carrier Unbirth (skin must be broken), or coming in contact with someone who already has it. There are some people, that are immune however, and they are as follows:

Nobodies - they have no heart, so therefore no light to be attacked.
Sora & Mickey - their Kingdom Keys prevent them from getting the virus for reasons unknown. Sora's anti-form exists, however, because in his drive form he bonds with people who are able to obtain it.
Riku - his past experience with being taken over by the Darkness prevents him from getting the virus
The Furventus Twins - in the future, the Unbirth Virus vaccine was required for all like a tetanus shot is for people in real life. They got it when they were very young. Returning to the future to get the vaccine is not an option, as they know, to cure anyone.

There are some that are semi immune, and those are people that have an exceptional amount of Darkness in their heart. (ex, Kadaj, Mors) It doesn't mean they can't get it, they are just unlikely.

There is also a small group of randomly immune people. Why they are immune, they don't know, and are determined to find out.

Everyone else can easily get the virus. It is highly contagious, so if your character is not immune or semi-immune, and comes in contact with someone who already has the virus, they WILL get it. No questions asked.

The Virus and Its Stages:

Stage 1 -- High fever, accompanied with migraines and sometimes nausea. Occasionally one can be delusional.

Remission -- After Stage 1, the Virus seems to go away. The person feels exceedingly fine and elated until...

Stage 2 -- ...they start coughing up black blood. Uncharacteristic fits of rage may start.

Stage 3 -- The high fever, migraines, and hallucinations return along with the symptoms from stage 2. Rage becomes more prominent. Also, eyes begin to turn yellow.

Stage 4 -- All symptoms from stage 3, and now the person is 99.9% of the time in a "I kill you!" mode. Eyes are now yellow and glowing, and shadowy smoke begins to come from their skin.

Stage 5 -- They become an anti-form. This is currently permanent, as no cure was ever found in the previous war or in the future for those that made it to this stage.

Currently Kumika and Oriel are the first to catch it and then spread it.

There is then a group of immune/semi-immune people who go to look for a cure.

***NEW PLOTNESS UPDATE*** When the characters get to a stage 3/4 area, there will be a battle between them. Over what you ask? Well...

Kumika and Kairi get into an argument about something completely trivial. However, it then heats up with the characters siding with Kumika or Kairi, and this causes them to get into one huge fight- an actual battle kind of fight, no longer just a petty argument.

Those immune will try to control this fight and settle it down but can't accomplish much because some characters will turn into their anti forms.

Here are the match-ups, I've done this so that it's even but if you have an issue/plot and want it to be different tell me. I also presumed who would be on who's side, if you want to change that tell me for that also. x3 (left side is Kumika's side, right is Kairi's)

**UPDATE AGAIN**

I decided on a cure. Sea-Salt Ice Cream. YES. THEY GO AROUND LOOKING FOR STUFF WHEN IT WAS THERE ALL ALONG. And not just any sea-salt ice cream... but Radiant Garden sea-salt ice cream! xP cause it was invented there, y'know.
